El Teo i el Finian ja tenen dos anys! Felicitats! Ostres, que grans que s’han fet. En els ultims mesos han canviat moltissim, ara ja semblen nens grans 
. Aqui va una llista del que fan als dos anys. En general els agraden les mateixes coses, pero he intentat descriure les coses que particularment els diferencia mes:
Teo:
-Li encanten els trens. Li xiflen. Es pot passar hores jugant amb trens, increible. I tunels, qualsevol cosa que es pugui convertir en tunel li fascina i crida ben fort: TUNEL!!!
-El Teo es pot passar estones llargues jugant ell sol, va parlant i fent-se la seva historia sense necessitar massa la nostra ajuda.
-Li encanta ballar, te un estil particular, saltant en un peu i posant la punta de l’altre a terra, i aixecant els bracos amunt i avall. Fa bastanta gracia.
-No se si es perque ens veu cuinar molt, pero la cuineta que la Noni ens va regalar va ser un exit total. S’hi passa estona, fent “pancakes”, sopes, pollastre, entrepans… Ho treu i posa dins i fora del forn trenta mil vegades… genial. I ho ha de fer amb les manoples posades, per no cremar-se
-Els massatges el deixen grogui, sobretot li agrada quan “petem” l’ou al cap i amb les mans fem passar els dits pels cabells fins les espatlles. Ens ho fa repetir una vegada i una altra.
-Quan dibuixa ho fa ben fort i tot junt, no se si aixo vol dir alguna cosa.
-Es esquerra
-El color preferit es el blau.
Finian:
-Dreta
-Dibuixa linies per tot el full i fa rodones molt be
-Li encanta ballar, amb molt d’estil, va seguint el ritme com botant i va fent patades mentre mou els bracos i amb el culet enfora.
-Color preferit el taronja i el marro.
-Es passaria del dia jugant amb aigua, a la terrassa regant les plantes, o jugant a la banyera. De vegades hem fet fins a 3 banyeres en un dia.
-Al contrari del Teo, el Finian es el cul d’en Jaumet, li agrada ara fer aixo, ara allo, i li agrada que hi siguis al costat i ensenyar-te com ho fa.
-Es un fantastic “germa gran”. De vegades li pren coses al Teo pero quan li demanem que ho torni, sempre ho fa. I moltes vegades vol dur-li coses al Teo per jugar-hi tots dos.
-Sembla que entengui molt be quan li expliquem el que esta be i el no esta be. Quan fa una cosa que no ha de fer, de seguida ho admet i ho va repetint (“no pushing”, “no biting”, “no ho toquis”…)
Just quan vam tornar de Barcelona vam decidir ensenyar-los al F i al T on han de fer pipi i caca en lloc del panyal. No els hem forcat a res, pero si que intentem anar-ho repetint i dir-los que ho provin de tant en tant per acostumar-s’hi. Mica en mica van millorant, i l’altre dia el Finian va fer pipi a la tasseta tot sol, sense que nosaltres li diguessim res! Doncs apa, 3 fotos de quan vam comencar.
Un any i mig! One year and a half!

Doncs ja han fet un any i mig, com passa el temps. Aquest cop ho hem celebrat a Barcelona amb els avis. Quan faci el resum del viatge a Barcelona ja us n’explicare mes detalls. Ara nomes vull fer un resumet del que fan a 18 mesos:
Parla:
doncs diuen bastantes paraules, no senceres, pero es fan entendre. Aigua(wawa o agua), iaia, avi (ava), noni, buble, car (broom-broom o txcar!), more (mo), vaca (mu), nena (nene), pilota (ba), boat (bo), chair (txe), i moltes mes, pero aquestes son les que ara me’n recordo. Encara no diuen cap frase.
Fisicament:
Acaben d’aprendre a fer anar un cotxet dels de muntar-se, comencen a pujar i baixar escales tot sols si no son molt altes, el Finian corre una miqueta, si els ajudem una mica poden fer tumbarelles al llit,
A les nits:
Doncs encara no dormen massa be. De vegades han dormit 8 o 9 hores seguides, pero en general es desperten unes 2 o 3 vegades cada nit cada nen i si podem els caminem i si no, els dono el pit. Se’n van a dormir entre les 7pm i les 9pm i dormen unes 11 hores total. Ara com ara per posar-los a dormir els dono el pit, pero d’aqui a poc aixo canviara… Fan una migdiada al dia, cap a les 12p, durant 1 o 2 hores. Ah, i encara dormim tots junts a la mateixa habitacio, encara que de vegades en posem un al “living room” i llavors es desperten menys.
Menjar:
Fins ara han estat molt tiquis-miquis, i no els agraden massa coses: pa, formatge, pasta, salsa de tomaquet, polenta, espinacs (dissimulats), mongetes, mantega, craquers (peixets), panses, pure de patates… aixo es el que els agrada mes. No toquen la fruita, les verdures les hem de dissimular, i el peix i la carn, mai se sap, de vegades si, de vegades no. Ultimament estan canviant, i sembla que mica en mica mengen mes i mes varietat… creuem els dits. Ah, tambe els agrada el Kombucha, te tela!
Jocs:
Els encanten els puzzles, cotxes, trens, peekaboo, anar despullats, L’AIGUA (qualsevol cosa que impliqui aigua, per sort tenim una terrassa a casa), fireta, nines, pilotes, blocs, pintar, plastilina, musica, ballar… vaja, quasibe tot.
Societat:
Son bastant oberts amb la gent, diuen hola i adeu generalment, i somriuen a desconeguts. Juguen entre ells de tant en quant a perseguir-se al voltant del sofa (divertidissim), i es donen coses si els ho demanem. Tambe es barallen de vegades si nomes hi ha una joguina i normalment es el Finian que mossega al Teo (he llegit que sempre n’hi ha un que mossega a l’altre, de bessons).
Transport:
No els agrada anar en cotxet, ens costa posar-los, un cop hi son de vegades hi estan be, pero de vegades ploren fins que els treiem. El cotxe tampoc els agrada, encara que ultimament els hem comprat un DVD player i l’Elmo ha estat el salvador dels viatges amb cotxe. El bus els flipa.
Altres:
els hem tallat els cabells dues vegades, nomes una mica de la part del darrera.
Dades:
pesen 22 pounds cada un. El metge diu que estan dins del 10% de la majoria de nens en pes i el 50% de l’alcada. O sigui, que han de menjar mes.
Finian: ha dormit 9 hores i mitja seguides!

Finally, Finian slept 9 hours and a half straight! At 1 and a half years old… I know of a lot of parents that might be saying: what??? until now he hasn’t slept 9 hours straight? Well, each child is different and having twins is not easy…
Teo and Fin are starting to “say” more words. They don’t completely say the word, but they try to say it. Here is a list of the ones we can identify:

El Teo i el Fin estan comencant a “dir” mes paraules. No diuen la paraula sencera, pero intenten dir-la. Aqui hi ha una llista de les que nosaltres podem entendre:

Aquests dies hem estat fent una mena de “sleep training”, ahir va ser la quarta nit, i el Teo va dormir 10 hores seguides!!!! L’Owen i jo estem cansadissims, pero molt contents que com a minim una nit ha dormit be. A veure com continua…
These past days we have been doing some sort of “sleep training”. Yesterday it was the 4th night, and Teo slept 10 hours straight! Owen and I are exhausted and sleep deprived, but very happy that at least last night Teo slept so well. Teo has been saying Quack quack for a while now, but until now I haven’t been able to get in on the camera. Super cute!

Teo seems to want to talk all the time, trying to imitate all what we say.
Finian is really excited about walking fast all over and explore.
They love to dance to music, standing up and down moving their hands around.
Finian seems to be very detail oriented and is really into books, going thru pages over and over.
Teo likes the little wooden trains and he makes them go sideways.
They are both now starting to point at things they want.
They don’t cry at the stroller anymore.
They love doing: Ralet, ralet, ralet, pica el dineret!!!
Teo did his first 3 steps today!!! Just a few days after his brother!!! Isn’t it incredible that identical twins reach their milestones almost at the same time?
Finian continues to practice his walking, but he mostly crawls around the house.
El Teo a fet les seves primeres 3 passes avui!!! Nomes uns dies despres del seu germa!!! No es increible que els bessons identics (unibitalins) ho fan tot (primera dent, primers passos…) gairebe a la vegada?
El Finian continua practicant el caminar, pero majoritariament gateja per moure’s per casa.

Quan han acabat els hem posat al terra de la cuina i de cop i volta el Finian s’ha aixecat i s’ha posat a caminar. S’ha posat tant content que ha comencat a fer el seu ritual de quan esta content, de genolls, endavant i endarrera. Al cap d’una estona ha tornat a caminar una mica mes. I despres una altra vegada. Jo crec que al Teo no li falta gaire per seguir els passos del germa gran
Today after the birthday party for F & T, we have bathed them and given them the dinner. When they were done we have put them on the floor at the kitchen and all of the sudden, Finian got up and started walking. He got so happy that he started to do what he does when he is happy, going back and forth on his knees. After a little bit he walked a little bit again. And then another time. I think that Teo is very close to follow his big brother’s steps.

The boys are now practicing walking with it, although they sometimes also use whatever they find on the way, like a box or a chair. Thanks Steve for the walker, it’s really nice!
El nostre amic Steve ens va donar un caminador que els seus fills tenien quan eren petits. Els nens ara l’utilitzen per practicar com caminar, encara que de vegades utilitzen qualsevol cosa que trobin pel cami, com ara una caixa o una cadira.

Lately I haven’t been able to write because the boys haven’t been sleeping at night and we are like zombies during the day… But tha latest news are that F & T can stand up by themselves grabing onto a chair or box!

They both can go from belly to sit position
They both can do commando crawling
They both have the 2 upper teeth
they love zippers and straps, my grandfather would be proud
they love to look at tags and labels, my father will be proud
they seem to start to respond to their names, sometimes
they eat bananas, rice cereal and yems, avocados makes them a rash
they go to bed between 5.30 and 7.30pm and wake up between 4.30am and 7am. sleep no longer than 3 hours…yes, pretty bad…
they start to bang toys on the floor or table…
they seem to have a good time together, for a few minutes, they smile at each other
Teo weighs 16lbs 12 oz and Finian 17lbs 5 oz

Sembla que els agrada estar junts, una estona, riuen i es criden l’un a l’altre
El Teo pesa 7,6 Kg i el Finian 7,8 Kg
Doncs ja hem comencat a donar-los solids. Vam comencar amb platan i despres amb avocat. L’avocat els va provocar una mena de irritacio a la boca, aixi que ara nomes els donem platan. De moment sembla que al Finian li agrada mes que al Teo.
We have started to give them solids. We started with banana and then with avocado. The avocado gave them a little irritation on their mouth so we only give them banana now. So far it looks like Finian enjoys it more than Teo.

El Teo ja fa temps que pot seure ell solet (potser fara unes 2 setmanes ja) pero encara no havia penjat cap foto. Doncs aqui les teniu!!!
For a few weeks already we have been eating with Teo and Fin at the table. It is really nice to have them so close, they feel much more like boys and no babies anymore…;-) Now we have to be careful what we put in front of them, they want it all!!
Des de fa unes setmanes hem estat menjant amb el Teo i el Fin a la taula. Ens agrada molt tenir-los a prop, semblen molt mes grans, mes com nens i no bebes…;-) Ara hem d’anar amb compte amb el que els posem a davant, ho volen agafar tot!!!

Avui el Teo s’ha xupat els dits del peu. Tota una proesa. Qui ho voldria poder ser tant flexible…No en tenim cap foto encara.

Teo has the 2nd tooth! Now both of them have 2 teeth.
Coses que fan ara:
-Saben girar de panxa avall a panxa amunt, i al reves
-Passen coses d’una ma a l’altra
-Poden seure durant uns segons
-Al Finian li agrada mirar els arbres des de la finestra
-El Teo s’adorm quan l’owen l’agafa i balla claque
-Tenen una (Teo) i dues (Finian) dents, les de sota
-Dormen unes 11 hores cada nit, pero es desperten cada 3-4 hores. Es lleven cap a les 8 del mati i s’adormen cap a les 21-22h del vespre.
-Durant el dia fan unes dues migdiades, d’entre 20 minuts i 2 hores
-Somriuen molt
-Els agrada quan els cantem cancons (Arri arri tatanet, Els Titelles, Baker cake, Salta l’esquirol, Dins la fosca tot d’una…)
-Si els fem una foto miren a la camera
-Es reconeixen un a l’altre i es somriuen (fins i tot s’intercanvien alguns sons)
-El Finian s’agafa els peus
-Agafen tot el que els crida l’atencio, i si poden s’ho posen a la boca
-Bavegen…molt!
-Els agrada estar drets (amb nosaltres agafant-los) i de panxa avall aixecant el cap.
-Fa sons com ara: A-guu, Neee, Brrrr (deixant anar molta saliva)
-Fan els que es diu “comando” crawling, que vol dir que es poden arrossegar i moure’s una mia de panxa avall tocant a terra
Coses que fan ara:
-They know how to turn from back to tommy and the opposite
-They can pass things from one hand to the other
-They can seat by themselves for a few seconds
-Finian likes a lot to look at the trees through the window
-Teo falls asleep when Owen holds him and dances some tap
-They have one (Teo) and two (Finian) teeth, the lower ones
-They sleep aroun 11 hours every night, but they wake up to feed every 3-4 hours. They wake up at 8am and fall asleep aroun 9-10pm at night
-During the day they take 2 naps, of 20 minutes to 2 hours (but this changes a lot)
-They smile a lot
-They like that we sing songs to them (Arri arri tatanet, Els Titelles, Baker cake, Salta l’esquirol, Dins la fosca tot d’una…)
-If we take a pictures of them, they look at the camera
-They recognize each other and smile at each other (even make a few sounds)
-They grab anything that they see and if they can, they put it on their mouths
-Finian can reach and grab his toes
-They drool….a lot!
-They like to be standing up (we hold them from the hands) and to be on their tummy with the head up
-They make sounds like: A-gooo, Neee, gurgles, and blow air (and saliva) through their mouths
-They do what’s called “comando” crawling, where they drag themselves on their bellies while pulling themselves forward with their arms

I aqui ve el segon, dos dies mes tard, amb la de baix a l’esquerra tambe. Visca!!!
And here comes the second one, two days later, with also the lower left tooth. Yuhu!!!

Finian has his first tooth. It is the bottom left tooth, yuhu!!!
Here is some info about first teeth:
Between the ages of 4 and 7 months, you’ll notice your baby’s first tooth pushing through the gum line. The first teeth to appear usually are the two bottom front teeth, also known as the central incisors. These are usually followed 4 to 8 weeks later by the four front upper teeth (central and lateral incisors). About a month later, the lower lateral incisors (the two teeth flanking the bottom front teeth) will appear.
Next to break through the gum line are the first molars (the back teeth used for grinding food), then finally the eyeteeth (the pointy teeth in the upper jaw). Most kids have all 20 of their primary teeth by their third birthday.
El Teo i el Finian ja tenen 4 mesos! Llistat de coses que fan:
-mengen cada 2-3 hores durant el dia, 4-5 hores a la nit (algna vegada 7 hores!)
-tenen forca amb les mans, pero encara no agafen coses
-aixequen el cap i somriuen quan estan de panxa avall
-segueixen amb la mirada
-tots dos somriuen molt, i comencen a riure amb soroll
-ulls de color gris, i cabell entre castany i ros, amb reflexes vermells (?)
-pesen uns 14 pounds
-no els agrada dormir de panxa amunt, i dormen amb nosaltres al llit
-el Finian es posa dret durant varis segons si l’aguantem. El Teo tot just comenca a fer-ho
-fan sorolls com ara: Uuuuu, aaaa, eeee, aug, aguuu!
-El Finian pot estar em posicio asseguda durant una estona si l’ajudem una mica.
-s’han mirat l’un a l’altre algunes vegades, i s’han somrigut
-babegen que dona gust…
Today Teo and Finian are 4 months old!! List of things they do:
-they eat every 3-2 hours, 4-5 hours at night (a few times they”ve done 7 hours!)-They have strength on their hands, but not enough so they could hang themselves
-Lift their head up if their are laying on their tommy and smile at you
-Follow objects with the eyes
-They both smile a lot at people, and they are starting to make a few laughing sounds
-grey eyes, brown/light hair with red highlights
-weight: around 14 pounds
-they don’t like to sleep facing up, and are sleeping every night in our bed.
-Finian stands up by himself for a few seconds and with us supporting. Teo just started doing it now.
-They make noises like: uuuuuu, aaaaa, eeee, augh, aguuuu.!!!
-Finian can be on a sitting position for a little bit if we support him
-They look at each other sometimes and they have smiled at each other a few times
-they drool…so much…

We don’t have any video of it yet, but Finian has started to make noises with the mouth that sound like aaaaa, eeeee. Impressive!

Finian can now lift his head 90 degrees, although only for a few seconds.
Ahir vam posar-los de panxa avall per tal que fessin exercicis amb els bracos i el cap. Tummy time!!! El de mes a prop de la camera es el Finian, pero ja ho sabieu, no?
Yesterday we put them on their tummy to do some exercises with their arms and belly. Tummy time!!! The closest to the camera is Finian, but you knew that, right?
Ahir el Finian va fer els primers somriures responent a l’Owen que li feia gracietes i vaig tenir la sort d’estar-ho filmant (per mala sort ho vaig filmar en vertical…aix…pero val la pena torcar el cap per veure-ho)
Yesterday Finian did his first responsive smiles to Owen who was doing silly things to him. I was lucky to be video taping at the moment (although I did it vertical…but it is worth it to turn the head to watch
it)

Avui el Teo i el Finian han fet 2 mesos! Llistat de coses que fan:
-mengen cada 2-3 hores
-de 10pm a 3am, els costa dormir
-si els aixequem de les mans, de vegades tambe aixequen el cap
-tenen forca amb les mans, pero no prou com per penjar-se
-ronquen molt sovint
-aixequen el cap del terra si estan de panxa avall
-segueixen amb la mirada i l’oida
-el finian fa somriures, encara que no intencionats
-estudien les cares dels que els parlen
-ulls de color gris, i cabell entre castany i ros, amb reflexes vermells (?)
-pesen uns 10 pounds
-els agrada anar amb slings
-no els agrada dormir de panxa amunt, i dormen amb nosaltres al llit
Today Teo and Finian are 2 months old!! List of things they do:
-they eat every 3-2 hours
-from 10pm to 3am they have a hard time to sleep -If we lift them from their hands, they can also lift their head
-They have strength on their hands, but not enough so they could hang themselves
-Grunt and snore often
-Lift their head up if their are laying on their tommy
-Follow you with the eyes and the sound
-Finian smiles, although not very intentioned
-They study the faces oestudien les cares dels que els parlen
-grey eyes, brown/light hair with red highlights
-weight: around 10 pounds
-they like to be in the slings
-they don’t like to sleep facing up, and are sleeping every night in our bed.
